About the Role

As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, build strong literacy outcomes, and create learning experiences that encourage curiosity, discussion and independent thinking. You will play an significant role in supporting students at different stages of their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with NSW curriculum requirements
Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
Develop lesson plans, resources and assessment tasks
Support literacy development across a range of student abilities
Maintain accurate student records and reporting requirements
Contribute to faculty planning and curriculum initiatives

Located in Cessnock NSW 2325, this role is based in the heart of the Hunter region. Cessnock offers access to major health services, retail centres, sporting facilities and regional transport links, with Newcastle approximately 50 km away and Sydney accessible via road and rail connections through the Hunter network.
