We arean acute medical and surgical hospital with 240 beds, conveniently located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne easily accessible via the Monash Freeway and East Link.

24-hour Emergency Department

10 bed Intensive Care Unit

17 bed Coronary Care Unit

9 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory

Day Surgery Centre including 2 operating theatres and an endoscopy suite

Short Stay Unit

Medical & Surgical Wards

Consulting Suites (on-site and off-site)

Pathology

Radiation Oncology (operated by ICON)

About the Department

Mulgrave Private Hospital is seeking experienced Scrub Scouts to join our busy ortho team. The main operating department consists of 7 operating theatres. We do a range of orthopedic procedures including MAKO robot, ROSA robot, shoulder joint surgery, all major hip and knee joint surgery, foot / ankle and hand surgery.





Will consider full time, part time and casual contracts. Twilight1800 -2400hrs -family friendly shifts available

Skills and experience
Registrationwith AHPRA
Ability to work am/pm or twilightflexible shifts based on activity
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
Minimum1 year experience inortho scrub
Sound knowledge of ACORN Standards & ANZCA Guidelines
If successful will require National Criminal History Record Check &Working; with Children Check
Post graduate certificate in Perioperative Nursing
