Huddle Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. You could be experienced or recent to the industry, we are simply looking for someone who is the right fit. The role involves working with teenagers and young adults who require support to access the community and develop social skills. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to fit around your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing
Facilitating social, recreational, and community engagement activities to promote independence and well-being
Providing emotional support and advocating for participants' needs
Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care

What we're looking for
Relevant experience in the disability or someone who wants to gain this experience
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy,



patience and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current First Aid certificate and National Police Check
