Key Responsibilities
Dental Assisting Duties
Chairside assistance to dentists during a range of dental procedures
Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms
Maintaining infection control standards and clinical protocols
Assisting with patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatment
Managing clinical stock and supplies
Taking and processing dental radiographs (where qualified)
Reception Duties
Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service
Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
Patient recalls and follow-up communications
Processing payments and handling accounts
Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality
Liaising with patients regarding treatment plans and appointments
General administrative and reception duties
About You
Present professionally and maintain a positive attitude
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be reliable, organized, and punctual
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Be adaptable and willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities
Have robust customer service skills and attention to detail
Be eager to learn and develop within the dental industry
Be willing to travel and work at our sister clinics in Bendigo and Castlemaine when required
