About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Microvellum Draftspersonto join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality joinery projects.
This position directly supports production and is ideal for someone who combines solid technical drafting and joinery skills with a practical understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed joinery shop drawings and construction documentation using Microvellum
Prepare CNC-ready files, cut lists, and material schedules
Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and design documentation
Work collaboratively with project managers, estimators, architects, builders, and manufacturing teams
Resolve technical and design challenges while maintaining project timelines
Coordinate documentation with site measurements and manufacturing requirements
Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of Microvellum libraries and drafting processes
Provide project reporting and status updates as required
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiencies
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience working with Microvellum in a joinery or cabinetmaking environment
Solid understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and hardware
Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation
Robust communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
You’ll Stand Out If You Have
Trade background in cabinetmaking or joinery
Experience working on commercial joinery, fit-out, education, hospitality, or high-end residential projects
The ability to work closely with manufacturing and workshop teams
Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
