Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a key member of the Maintenance & Reliability team, ensuring plant reliability and production efficiency on a rotating day/night roster (7‑day fortnight).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct machinery inspections, adjustments and repairs.
Troubleshoot process and equipment failures to determine root causes.
Drive preventative and ongoing maintenance programs.
Support Engineering & Production teams in continuous improvements.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend process enhancements.
Supervise TA’s and contract staff, ensuring compliance with standards.
Manufacture, repair and fault‑find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
What We’re Looking For
Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitter) – Essential.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics – Highly regarded.
Exposure to FMCG, food processing or red meat industry – Preferred.
Experience with vacuum packaging equipment – Advantageous.
Solid knowledge of OHS compliance and confined space requirements.
Ability to fabricate & weld – Advantageous.
