We're looking for an experienced person to join our rapidly growing family business — Accounting Solutions NQ, a locally owned bookkeeping and accounting practice in Townsville. We're passionate about guiding small businesses through every stage of their journey, and our clients are always our top priority. We are looking for a dual roll to support our Bookkeeping team and assist with Administration.

What you'll be doing

Your day-to-day will vary depending on current deadlines and staffing needs, and may include:
Bookkeeping for clients using Xero accounting software
Processing Wages and Superannuation for clients as required
Checking clients bookkeeping to prepare BAS statements quarterly
Preparing BAS & IAS monthly and quarterly as required
Providing administration support to the Administration Officer
Lending a hand wherever the team needs support

You’ll have the chance to exercise your own judgement and initiative within your role, and — as you grow with us — you may take on checking or guiding the work of other team members.
