About the business

A well-established, global leader in hydraulic lifting, loading and handling equipment is growing its NSW operation and is looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join the team in Rydalmere. You’ll be working on high-quality equipment with strong systems, training and long-term stability.

About the role

This is a hands‑on workshop position focused on the preparation, installation, servicing and repair of hydraulic lifting equipment built to customer specifications.
You’ll be working across recent builds, pre-delivery work, scheduled maintenance and breakdowns, within a safety‑first, team‑based workshop environment.

Key responsibilities
Workshop installation and preparation of hydraulic lifting equipment to customer specs
Truck hydraulic installs (incl. PTO/pumps where required)
Hydraulic hosing, component replacement and leak rectification
Mechanical fault finding,



servicing and repair (scheduled + breakdown)
Welding and fabrication (subframes, bracketry, modifications, repairs)
Minor auto‑electrical tasks as required
Complete job documentation and maintain high housekeeping standards

What we’re looking for
Proven mechanical fitting experience (workshop-based preferred)
Strong hydraulic servicing/repair capability and diagnostic skills
Welding/fabrication exposure (ticketed ideal, practical capability essential)
Heavy vehicle / truck body / lifting equipment experience highly regarded
Safety‑first attitude, reliable, high attention to detail
Ability to pass pre‑employment medical + drug & alcohol screening
