Job Overview:
The Supermarket Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of an independent supermarket business. This agile position requires a hands‑on approach, combining strong leadership, business acumen, and customer service skills to drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and foster a positive shopping experience for customers
and profit and loss.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff to maintain a positive work setting.
Uphold high service standards and cultivate customer relationships.
Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven retail management experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Financial acumen, including profit and loss management.
Inventory control experience.
Computer literacy for inventory management and reporting.
Experience with fresh produce management.
