Lead the daily operations of Mt Isa Early Learning Centre as Service Director in a fixed-term parental leave cover role.

About the position

St Mary MacKillop Early Learning Centre is one of the leading Early Learning Centres providing exceptional long daycare services to the local community of Pioneer and Mount Isa. The service features a vibrant five-room facility with spacious, well‑equipped resources and beautiful indoor and outdoor areas. We are seeking a dedicated Service Director to lead the operation of our service in a fixed‑term full‑time parental leave cover position until February 2027, working 38 hours per week. You will have the support of an Assistant Director, a Business Operations Consultant and other experts from Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland.

What you’ll need to succeed
Diploma of Early Childhood & Care or an equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering education and/or care of children




Ability to develop and continually build professional relationships with the team, families and stakeholders
