About the role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse with solid experience in Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout nursing to join our agile clinical team on a full-time, Part time and Casual basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster.

Duties and responsibilities
Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

About You

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.



You will have:
Solid experience in Perioperative Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout nursing
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
Current AHPRA registration
Thrive in a faced paced specialised team
