The Head of Technology is running a project to move a group of in-house applications (currently tracked in SharePoint and Power BI) into ServiceNow, using the Application Portfolio Management framework. The project includes planning how applications will be set up, assigning resources, and shifting tools and vendor systems into ServiceNow.
The right person for this role will lead the entire process—from planning to completion. They need hands-on experience setting up ServiceNow modules and should be able to give both big-picture direction and technical support. They’ll work closely with architects and team leaders to assign work, track progress, and make sure everything matches business needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Manage the migration of applications and data into ServiceNow
Ensure alignment with Application Portfolio Management framework and business requirements
Stabilize builds and manage configuration tasks across ServiceNow modules
Assist with application development and customization within ServiceNow
Troubleshoot complex, setting-specific issues
Support ad-hoc development tasks as needed
Qualifications
6–10 years of ServiceNow project management and migration
Experience with the Enterprise Architecture app in ServiceNow
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration and module management
Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
Familiarity with multiple ServiceNow modules
Prior experience with the Enterprise Architecture app in ServiceNow
Nice to Have
Experience in architectural design and strategy
