You will manage client matters, provide practical advice, and help guide junior staff. The position offers robust client exposure and the chance to contribute to the ongoing development of our practice.
Key Attributes
Minimum 5 years' experience in public practice (more is advantageous)
Solid communication skills and attention to detail
Experience working with small businesses and multi-entity groups
Ability to review work and support junior team members
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero experience highly regarded)
Solid knowledge of income tax and GST
Experience in the following is desirable:
Trusts, companies, and group structures
Division 7A and inter-entity transactions
Corporate compliance and reporting
Preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, and BAS
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Financial Reports and Income Tax Returns for a range of entities
Liaise with the ATO, ASIC, and other authorities
Communicate directly with clients and follow up outstanding matters
Review work prepared by junior staff and support their development
Identify technical issues and assist in providing practical solutions
Assist with client meetings and preparation of advice where required.
