Our Client a large Federal Government Department that funds reasonable and necessary supports associated with significant and permanent disability for people, are looking for a Lead Cyber Security Engineer on a long 12 + 12 Month Contract.
Duties of the Lead Cyber Security Engineer:
Interpret business strategic direction and functional requirements and develop corresponding technologies to enhance the agency’s defensive posture.
Working collaboratively with internal project teams and stakeholders to develop and deliver key cyber technologies.
The development and enhancement of orchestration and automation technologies.
Continual refinement of processes, methods, and technologies to enhance the cyber security posture of the agency.
Translate technologies into easy processes and mentor junior staff wherever required.
Skills and Experience Required:
Demonstrated experience in a minimum of three of the following - SIEM, SOAR, TIP, Vulnerability Management, Threat Modeling, UEBA, PKI administration, CSPM,
CNAPP and Enterprise Logging.
CI/CD IaC - Terraform (preferred)
Demonstrated experience of working with Cloud environments and technologies - Azure, AWS, SaaS settings
Familiarity with Government and Industry Cyber frameworks, standards, controls and guidelines - PSPF, ISM, E8, ISO
Equivalence in comparable technologies and standards will also be considered.
