Position Overview

The Assistant Bar Manager supports the Bar Manager in leading bar operations, training staff, and managing stock. They act as lead when required and offer support to the floor team as an all-rounder.

/n

Key Responsibilities

Supervise bar shifts and coach bartenders in real time.

/n

Support stocktakes, ordering, and wastage control.

/n

Assist in bar setup, prep, and service flow.

/n

Ensure RSA, WHS, and hygiene standards are upheld.

/n

Promote a positive, team-oriented bar culture.

/n

Greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks.

/n

Maintain section cleanliness and flow.

/n

Upsell drinks and menu items confidently.

/n

Communicate with BOH and FOH teams for timing and pacing.

/n

Solid bar experience, ready to step into leadership.

Cocktail knowledge and speed under pressure.

/n

Reliable and organised with attention to detail.
