We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team in a 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) position on a six-month contract. Who will the successful applicant be?
The successful applicant will be a passionate educator who is committed to achieving excellent learning outcomes and creating engaging classroom experiences. They will demonstrate:
Proven experience teaching Secondary Science, withexpertise in Physics and/or Chemistry highly regarded.
A genuine enthusiasm for Science and the ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a lifelong interest in the subject.
A strong understanding of contemporary educational research and best practice in senior secondary teaching and learning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive Science team.
Confidence in integrating technology into teaching and learning to enhance student engagement and achievement.
A commitment to the School's Christian mission, values, and ethos.
Experience teaching within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or Diploma Programme (DP) will be highly regarded.

St Andrew's Cathedral School was founded by the third Bishop of Sydney, Dr Alfred Barry. The School was opened on 14 July **** in the St Andrew's Schoolroom in Pitt Street, which was almost opposite the current headquarters of the Central Fire Brigade.
