Lift Ease PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and reliableLift Technicianto join our team on a full-time basis in Keilor East, VIC.
This is a hands-on technical position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of lift systems and equipment.
As a Lift Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lift systems across a range of residential, commercial and industrial properties.
Your work will be essential to maintaining the safety standards and reliability that our clients depend on.
Key responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain and repair lift systems and associated mechanical and electrical components
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on lift equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Diagnose faults and technical issues in lift systems and implement appropriate repairs
Conduct safety checks and inspections in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant regulations
Document all maintenance, repairs and inspections accurately and maintain detailed service records
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and repair requests from clients
Work safely at heights and in confined spaces whilst adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements
Liaise with clients to explain technical issues and provide updates on repair and maintenance work
Keep up to date with industry standards, technical developments and regulatory changes
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Lift Technician or in a similar lift maintenance and repair role
Knowledge of lift systems, electrical and mechanical components, and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with Australian Standards relevant to lift safety and compliance
Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards
Valid driver's licence
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Relevant certifications such as Working at Heights qualification and Rigging are highly valued
