Canowindra Soldiers' Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis from 31 August to 25 October ****.
This is an eight-week opportunity in Canowindra, NSW, offering $***** to $***** per hour.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced ED environment, taking on shift leadership responsibilities and delivering high-quality emergency care to the local community.
Eight-week contract role with the option to take charge of shifts
$***** to $***** per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Emergency Department setting in regional NSW with scope to develop clinical leadership skills
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated emergency department experience with a solid understanding of ED workflows and patient acuity assessment




Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Proven ability to work in charge of a shift and manage team dynamics under pressure
Robust clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a high-acuity environment
Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
Additional certifications such as trauma nursing (TNCC) or emergency nursing qualifications are advantageous
