Are you an experiencedSenior Building Managerlooking to step into a broader leadership role?
Our client is a well-established and growing Building Management company that manages a portfolio of premium residential and mixed-use developments across Sydney.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experiencedPortfolio Managerto oversee a portfolio of buildings while mentoring and supporting a team of Building Managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys remaining involved in the day-to-day operation of a building while taking the next step into leadership and portfolio management.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine dual-purpose role where you'll continue to manage one key residential asset while overseeing the performance of several additional buildings managed by your team.
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting Building Managers and ensuring exceptional service delivery across your portfolio.
No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on building operations with leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
As Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of a premium residential building.
Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of Building Managers across multiple sites.
Conducting regular site inspections and operational reviews.
Building strong relationships with Owners Corporations, Strata Managers, Building Management Committees and residents.
Overseeing contractor performance, maintenance programs and statutory compliance.
Assisting Building Managers with complex operational issues and resident escalations.
Preparing reports and attending Committee and General Meetings.
Monitoring portfolio performance, presentation standards and customer satisfaction.
Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring and performance reviews.
Working closely with senior management to continually improve operational processes.
About You
To be successful, you'll be an experienced Building Management professional who enjoys developing people just as much as managing buildings.
You'll Bring
Minimum 4 years' experience within Residential Building Management, Facilities Management or Strata Management.
Previous experience managing multiple buildings or complex residential communities.
Leadership or mentoring experience within a Building Management setting.
Strong understanding of residential building operations, contractor management and compliance.
Experience working alongside Owners Corporations, Strata Managers and Building Management Committees.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Strong computer literacy and experience using Building Management software.
Current Australian Driver's License and White Card (or willingness to obtain).
