12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
About the Role
I am seeking aSenior Financial Accountantto join an established real estateasset manageron a12 month fixed-term contract (FTC).
This role will sit within a high-performing finance team and support the financial reporting and accounting requirements across a portfolio of funds.
The position requires robust technical accounting capability, particularly acrossfinancial reporting and tax distribution calculations, along with the ability to manage key reporting processes acrossmultiple funds.
You will work closely with senior finance leadership and play a key role in supporting the month-end, half-year and year-end reporting cycles, while ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial reporting obligations.
Importantly, this role is not purely focused on completing the existing reporting cycle.
You will be encouraged to take awider view of the end-to-end processes and systems, identify opportunities for improvement and help strengthen the way reporting and accounting processes operate across the portfolio.
This role will suit someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented and enjoys looking beyond the numbers toimprove processes, systems and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities




Preparefinancial reports and fund financial statements
Supportmonthly management reporting and analysis
Performtax distribution calculations and related reporting
Assist withmonth-end, half-year and year-end reporting processes
Prepare management reports and financial analysis
Supportdistribution calculations and related disclosures
Review existingfinance processes and systems from an end-to-end perspective, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and controls
Contribute toprocess improvement initiativesacross fund accounting and financial reporting
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers as required
Skills & Experience
CA or CPA qualified
Approximately6–8+ years' accounting experience
Strongfinancial reporting experience
Experience withinfunds management, asset management or financial servicespreferred
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Animprovement mindset, with experience identifying and implementing process improvements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability towork autonomouslyand take ownership of key deliverables
