Urangan State High School is located in picturesque Hervey Bay, as part of the Department of Education's North Coast Region, and has been serving the community of Hervey Bay since ****.

Urangan State High School sits at the heart of the rapidly developing suburban communities of Kawungan, Torquay, and Urangan as well as the semi rural areas of Booral and River Heads.
About the Role:
Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
Your opportunity:
Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, toilets and sick bays.
Clean windows, glass, sinks, furniture, equipment and surfaces.
Sweep, vacuum, mop and maintain floors and outdoor areas.
Remove rubbish, litter, graffiti, cobwebs and mildew.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
Operate school security systems and lock/unlock buildings.
Report safety, security and maintenance issues.
Liaise with school management regarding cleaning supplies and replacements.
Direct members of the public to the appropriate school staff.
