As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.
Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our medical centre and the delivery of quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
Greeting and registering patients upon arrival at the medical centre
Answering and directing telephone enquiries promptly and courteously
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments using Best Practice
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with privacy regulations
Coordinating patient referrals and managing correspondence with other healthcare providers
Assisting with administrative tasks including photocopying and data entry
Providing information about medical services and clinic procedures to patients
Managing waiting areas to ensure a clean, organised and welcoming environment
What we're looking for
Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar healthcare administrative role
Proficiency in using Best Practice software
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail




A compassionate and patient-focused approach to interacting with patients
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry practices
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements within healthcare settings
