We're currently looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance team at a mine located just outside Blackwater, QLD.

About the role
Working within a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping our heavy mining fleet operating safely and efficiently.
Your work will include preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis,



component change-outs and breakdown repairs to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment
Conducting scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
Completing major component replacements and rebuild work
Responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
Accurately completing maintenance documentation
Following site safety procedures and maintenance standards
Working collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams
What you'll bring
Australian recognised Diesel Fitter trade qualification
Experience maintaining heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
A commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
Current Queensland Driver's Licence
Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
