Warehouse Allrounder / Dispatch Assistant
An exciting opportunity is available to join Washers and Stamped Components Australia (WASCA) as a Warehouse Allrounder / Dispatch Assistant, based at our Rowville facility.
As our operations continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable, hands-on all-rounder to join a small, established team responsible for keeping our warehouse running smoothly - from receiving and stock control through to accurate, on-time dispatch.
Your work will directly support customers across construction, automotive, defence, engineering and mining.
It's a great time to join: we've recently upgraded our business systems to Odoo, giving the warehouse team better tools for managing stock, orders and dispatch, and we're investing further as our Vic and WA operations continue to expand.
For the right candidate, this role offers stability, variety, and genuine opportunities to grow as the business grows - whether that's taking on greater responsibility within warehouse operations, or, once you've learnt the business from the ground up, moving into a sales administration role.
What you'll be doing
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and within shipping deadlines
Receiving, checking, unpacking and correctly storing incoming goods and returns
Coordinating freight bookings and liaising with couriers and freight providers to ensure on-time delivery
Completing packing lists, dispatch documentation and invoicing accurately, using our Odoo ERP system
Assisting with inventory control, cycle counts and stock takes, and maintaining accurate stock locations
Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment to safely move and manage stock
Supporting internal teams and providing a high level of service to customers
Following OH&S; procedures and helping maintain a clean, organised, safety-focused warehouse
Working closely with a small team where reliability and teamwork matter
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or dispatch environment (minimum 1-2 years required)
Comfortable using computer systems for stock and order processing - experience with an ERP or CRM system (e.g. Odoo) is a plus, though full training is provided
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
Solid attention to detail and pride in accurate work
A practical, hands-on attitude with the ability to work autonomously
Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
Physically capable of handling warehouse duties safely, including lifting, carrying and extended periods of standing or walking
Someone who wants to grow with the business, not just fill a role
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
What we offer
Competitive salary
Long-term job security with an established Australian manufacturer
A supportive, no-nonsense team culture where effort is recognised
Modern systems and tools - including our newly upgraded Odoo ERP platform - that make the job easier to do well
Genuine career progression for the right candidate - whether that's within warehouse operations, or into sales administration once you've learnt the business
The chance to be part of a growing team, backed by a business investing in its future
