BIM Manager or experienced BIM Coordinator | Melbourne

With an outstanding reputation for delivering complex, technically demanding projects across Australia, this is an exciting opportunity for a BIM Manager (or experienced BIM Coordinator) to join their growing Melbourne studio.
This is a key role within the practice, responsible for driving BIM strategy, digital delivery and best practice across projects.
Working closely with architects, designers, consultants and project teams, you will help establish robust BIM processes, improve collaboration and ensure digital information is delivered consistently, accurately and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Demonstrated experience in a BIM Manager, BIM Lead or similar senior digital delivery role, ideally within architecture, design or a multidisciplinary practice
Strong experience developing and implementing BIM strategies, standards, workflows and processes
Excellent knowledge of Revit and other relevant BIM technologies, with experience across platforms such as Navisworks and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud highly regarded
Experience preparing and managing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project information requirements
Strong understanding of model coordination,
clash detection and digital quality assurance
The ability to establish and maintain BIM standards that support consistent, accurate and coordinated project delivery
Experience working collaboratively with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
Strong understanding of Australian documentation, construction processes, building regulations and relevant digital delivery standards
Demonstrated ability to mentor, train and support project teams, helping to embed effective BIM practices across the studio
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into practical solutions
A proactive and forward-thinking approach to digital innovation, process improvement and technology
The Opportunity
This is much more than a technical BIM position.
You will play a central role in helping shape how the studio approaches digital design and project delivery.
You will have the opportunity to:
Lead and continually improve BIM strategies and standards across projects
Establish effective modelling, coordination and information management workflows
Oversee the integration of discipline-specific models and digital information
Support project teams with BIM coordination, quality control and issue resolution
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve collaboration and project outcomes
Deliver BIM training, knowledge sharing and capability development across the studio
Analyse BIM processes and project data to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and innovation
Contribute to the ongoing development of digital design technology and best practice within the practice
