This is a new opportunity designed specifically for VU students, with flexible shifts to help you balance work with your university commitments.
As an immediate priority of the partnership, VU and MUFG Retirement Solutions have worked together to launch this current Student Administrator Future First Program.
These new roles, available exclusively to VU students, offer paid experience, professional connections and potential pathways into future roles with MUFG Retirement Solutions and in the financial services and superannuation sector.
About the opportunity
We're looking for30 VU studentsto join theFuture First ProgramasStudent Administrators.You'll work in a team supporting the administration of superannuation funds.
The role is designed around your studies:
2 x 4-hour shifts per week
Flexible shifts, selected online via WePloy platform
All work completedon-siteat the MUFG office (no hybrid arrangements)
Training provided before you start
You'll gain paid professional experience while you study, with the potential to explore suitable full-time opportunities with MUFG as you approach graduation, where available.
Note:You'll be employed byWePloyand work within theMUFG Retirement Solutionsenvironment, with MUFG managing the work you'll undertake.
What will I actually do?
You'll help process administrative requests and member enquiries, including:
Responding to member enquiries via email
Processing superannuation requests, such as beneficiary updates and notices of intent to claim a tax deduction
The work can be high-volume, so accuracy and attention to detail are important.
As you gain experience, there may be opportunities to take on additional tasks and work across different fund teams.

What are the recruiters looking for?

We're looking for students who are:
Reliable and organised, with good time management
Accurate and detail-focused, particularly when working with data and administrative tasks
Confident communicators who enjoy working with others
Positive, proactive and willing to learn new systems and processes
Interested in exploring a potential career at MUFG
This opportunity is open tocurrent VU students only.
To apply, you must:
Be currently enrolled at VU and haveat least 12 months remainingin your course
Be available to work 2 x 4-hour shifts per week
Have the right to work in Australia
Be able to work on-site and complete the required training
Students studyingbusiness, finance, accounting, technology and related disciplinesare encouraged to apply.
