$107,154 - $111,619 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) + Superannuation

Your current role
Looking for a role where your Industrial Relations expertise can truly make a difference?
As our Industrial Relations Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to leaders across Council, providing specialist advice on complex workplace matters, employee relations, dispute resolution, and enterprise bargaining.
You'll work collaboratively with employees, managers, and unions to deliver practical solutions and support a positive and productive workplace culture.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Degree qualifications in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business Management, or a related discipline, and/or significant experience in Industrial Relations
Demonstrated experience providing expert Industrial Relations advice across a broad range of employee and workplace matters.
Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with managers, employees, union representatives, and key stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills,



with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Application Criteria
Demonstrated experience providing contemporary and compliant industrial relations advice across a broad range of employee and workplace matters, including interpretation of legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters, including dispute resolution, mediation, and performance-related issues.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships and influence positive outcomes with managers, employees, union representatives, and other key stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to research, analyse, and apply industrial relations legislation and employment frameworks to provide practical advice, recommendations, and continuous improvement initiatives
