Head Medical is working with Goulburn Base Hospital, a major regional hospital in New South Wales, to recruit doctors seeking broad clinical experience within a supportive and collaborative hospital environment.
This opportunity is particularly suited to doctors who have completed Foundation Training (or equivalent) and have gained at least 12 months of additional postgraduate experience, who are looking to further develop their clinical skills within General Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Develop your clinical assessment, decision‐making and patient management skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team
Work alongside experienced senior medical staff and contribute to the care of a diverse inpatient caseload
February **** commencement – 12-month contract
Salary $97,993 – $120,489 AUD per annum, commensurate with experience
The Role
Goulburn Base Hospital provides a broad range of acute and inpatient services to the local community and surrounding region.
As part of the General Medicine and Rehabilitation teams, you will gain hands‐on experience managing a varied patient caseload while working closely with senior medical staff and a multidisciplinary team.
The role offers the opportunity to develop your experience across:
Assessment and management of patients admitted under General Medicine
Management of patients with complex and multiple medical conditions
Inpatient rehabilitation and multidisciplinary patient care
Clinical assessment, investigation,



and development of management plans
Communication and coordination with patients, families, and allied health professionals
Ongoing development of clinical decision‐making and patient management skills

Before You Apply
