An exciting opportunity has opened for a hands‐onBar Managerto take the lead behind the bar of an intimate, high‐performing Sydney venue.
We're looking for an experienced bar leader who loves being in the thick of service - someone who knows their drinks, genuinely enjoys developing a team and understands that a great bar is about so much more than what's in the glass.

The Role
As Bar Manager, you'll take ownership of the day‐to‐day bar operation while working closely with the venue leadership team.
You'll be hands‐on during service, setting the pace and standard behind the bar while making sure your team has everything they need to perform at their best.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading bar service and being a strong presence during busy shifts
Owning ordering, stock control, beverage costs and supplier relationships
Training, mentoring and developing the bar team
Managing rostering and labour while keeping the operation running efficiently
Maintaining consistency across cocktails, wine and beverage presentation




Working closely with the wider venue team to create a seamless guest experience
Keeping a close eye on wastage, stock variances and opportunities to improve performance
Maintaining high standards across safety, compliance and venue operations
About You
You don't need to be the loudest person behind the bar, but you do need to be someone people naturally look to.
You're organised, calm under pressure and happiest leading from the front.
You care about the details, know how to create a excellent atmosphere and understand how to balance exceptional hospitality with a well‐run bar.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or senior bar leader within a quality restaurant or cocktail bar
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits and wine
Confidence managing beverage costs, stock, ordering and labour
A genuine passion for coaching and developing people
Strong communication and the ability to bring a team together
A love of great service and creating memorable guest experiences
Pride in running a safe, organised and high‐performing bar
