CNC - Thursday Island - Maternal & Child Health
Thursday Island Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Maternal and Child Health for a six-week contract role based in Thursday Island, Queensland.
This is a fixed-term position running from 27 August to 9 October ****, offering AUD$89 per hour.
The successful candidate will bring senior clinical expertise to the maternal and child health service, contributing to portfolio and audit management alongside direct clinical leadership.

Preferred Requirements




Minimum three years' experience in maternal and child health nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Demonstrated experience in immunisation practice and delivery
Ability to contribute to portfolio development and clinical audit processes
Preferred Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Post-graduate qualification or specialist credential in maternal and child health nursing
Experience in remote or regional healthcare settings is advantageous
