We provide the insight, governance and commercial partnership that help our project teams make confident decisions, manage risk and deliver robust outcomes.
You'll play a key role in:
As Finance Business Manager, you will lead our national Finance Business Partner team and set the standard for commercially sound, practical finance support across our Production and Commercial teams.
This is a leadership role with real influence.
You will turn project and business data into clear actions, strengthen financial discipline and develop a capable team that is trusted by stakeholders across SHAPE.
Lead, coach and develop the national Finance Business Partner team
Partner with Production and Commercial leaders on financial performance, risks and opportunities
Lead monthly production reporting and review key reporting inputs for accuracy and timeliness
Oversee cost reporting, forecasting, work in hand and project financial governance
Strengthen cash management through claims, invoicing, collections, debtors and client security
Improve finance systems, controls, training and consistent use of Jobpac
What you'll bring:
You are a commercially minded finance leader who sees beyond the numbers.
You can build trust with operational leaders,
simplify complex information and guide people towards the right commercial outcome.
You will bring confidence in a fast-moving, project-based environment, balanced by sound judgement, strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to developing others.
CA or CPA qualification
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing finance professionals
Significant finance business partnering, project accounting or commercial finance experience in construction, fitout or a project-based business
Strong knowledge of project cost reporting, forecasting, work in hand, cash flow, debtors, claims and project close-out
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and solid Jobpac knowledge
A curious, improvement-focused mindset and confidence working through change
A collaborative and respectful approach that builds strong relationships across the business
