About the Opportunity
We're seeking aHuman Resources Generalistto join our Echuca manufacturing site on a12-month fixed-term contract.
Supporting a workforce of 170+ employees, you'll partner with leaders across diverse functions and contribute to a wide range of people initiatives that impact the site.
Working closely with the site HR Manager and broader HR team,
this role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your HR capability, build strong stakeholder relationships and gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Manage employee queries relating to payroll, HR policies and procedures
Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers and offboarding
Partner with leaders and employees across the site to provide practical HR advice
Support employee performance management and workplace investigations
Support Enterprise Agreement negotiation activities
Support site change initiatives, communications and site projects
Collaborate with Payroll and specialist HR teams
Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring compliance with legislative and business requirements
Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
3-5 years' experience in a HR, People & Culture or people leader role
Experience interpreting Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements
Working knowledge of HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded)
Exposure to payroll or timekeeping systems is advantageous
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative, adaptable and relationship-focused approach
A genuine commitment to safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement
