The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality anaesthetic and perioperative care while contributing to service development, teaching, and clinical governance.
As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will:
Provide anaesthetic services across a broad case mix including:
General surgery
Orthopaedics
Obstetrics & gynaecology
Endoscopy and procedural lists
Dental and investigative services
Leadpre-anaesthetic assessment clinics
Deliver care to high-acuity patients, includingHDU ward rounds
Provide advanced procedural care including:
Airway management
Ventilatory support
Central venous access
Acute and perioperative pain management
Coordinate patient transfers with Retrieval Services Queensland
Participate in theon-call and after-hours roster
Contribute toclinical governance, audit, and quality improvement
Mentor and supervise junior doctors and medical students
