Key responsibilities as Supply Store Officer...
This is an exciting chance to join Kiama Council as a Supply Store Officer, where you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth delivery of Council services by ensuring goods, equipment and supplies are received, issued and managed efficiently.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will provide reliable supply advice and hands‐on stores support to internal and external customers across the organisation.
You will also assist with the physical receipting and issuing of items in a courteous, reliable and efficient manner.
What we offer...
Permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week
A compressed four day working week working Tuesday to Friday from 6:30am – 4:30pm
Commencing annual salary from $65,985 to $72,749
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
Annual performance-based progression opportunity to earn an annual salary of up to $80,206

What you'll need to be successful in the role...
You will be confident communicating, consulting and negotiating with internal and external customers.
You will be able to accurately maintain records, issue first aid kits,
assist with stocktake preparation and participate in bi-annual stock counts.
Your computer skills will be advanced, and include proficiency with Microsoft Office products, FileMaker Pro and the ability to use a financial management information system.
In addition to this you will need:
At least two years experience working in a similar role
Certificate III in Purchasing, Supply or Warehousing, or have demonstrated equivalent experience
Hold a Code LF forklift licence or be willing to obtain this within six months of appointment.
