Join ourResidential Careteam as aSenior Child and Youth Worker, Operations and Compliance, where you will provide guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Based inKeswick, this role will see you work across a variety of settings, providing coaching and practical support to strengthen practice standards and build the capability of Child and Youth Workers.
If you're driven by developing others and promoting continuous improvement, this role offers the opportunity to support positive outcomes through effective team practice.
In this role, you will:
Support Child and Youth Workers to build capability and confidence
Promote trauma-informed and culturally safe practice across Residential Care
Lead staff induction, learning and reflective practice to drive continuous improvement
Provide guidance through complex situations, including critical incidents and care concerns
Work collaboratively to provide operational guidance, maintain compliance and strengthen service delivery.
About you:




You have experience mentoring and supporting new staff while promoting inclusive practice
You communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with diverse groups
You promote culturally safe practice and understand the importance of culture and identity
You work independently to achieve team priorities and deliver quality outcomes
You have experience supporting children and young people with complex needs and developing appropriate programs.
Essential Qualifications:
Willingness to complete the Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Intervention within 12 months of commencing employment
Current HLTAID004 – Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education Care Setting Certificate
Satisfactory psychological suitability assessment to work with children and young people
Current South Australian driver's licence (P2 or above) and willingness to drive as required.
