About Our Client
Our client is an Australian company representing a globally leading transformer manufacturer, delivering high-quality, AS and IEC-compliant electrical equipment to some of Australia's most significant renewable energy and high-voltage infrastructure developments.
Their product line includes power transformers rated up to 1,500 MVA and 750kV, backed by full-service capability spanning design review, manufacturing, testing, transport, delivery, installation, and ongoing maintenance.

About The Role
As Technical Sales Engineer, you'll take ownership of the complete customer journey, from early-stage project development right through to contract sign-off, engaging a broad mix of stakeholders across the renewable energy and utility sectors.
This is a full-time position based on-site at the company's Box Hill office, five days a week when not in the field.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing account strategies and growth plans
Building strong familiarity with the industry, product range, and project delivery process




Delivering outstanding customer service and account management to establish and grow strong, senior-level relationships with key strategic clients
Driving strong customer satisfaction outcomes
Capturing relevant customer insights to support sales strategy
Collaborating closely with project teams to exceed customer expectations
Leading customer engagement initiatives as needed
Resolving client concerns and issues quickly and professionally
Owning and progressing sales opportunities
Developing and delivering client proposals and presentations
Travelling interstate and internationally as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll bring at least three years' experience in a similar or related position, pairing technical credibility with robust commercial instincts gained in the energy or utilities space.
You'll bring:
Hands-on experience with, or strong familiarity with high voltage utility or large-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, substations, or transmission)
A track record in strategic account and relationship management, ideally within energy or utilities
Existing industry relationships you can put to use from your first day
Solid technical grounding, with electrical engineering or power transformer experience highly valued
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication capability
The ability to influence and build relationships with key internal stakeholders
Confidence presenting to small groups and senior leadership
Independence, proactivity, and strong problem-solving instincts
High commercial acumen and close attention to detail
A current driver's licence
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory)
