We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join a busy Local Government team based in Guildford West.
This role will see you delivering essential maintenance and cleansing services across the local area, helping to maintain clean, safe, and well-presented public spaces for the community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver town centre cleansing and maintenance services across assigned areas
Perform litter and rubbish collection duties to maintain public cleanliness
Carry out street and laneway cleaning activities
Maintain traffic facilities and ensure public areas remain safe and operational
Undertake verge maintenance, including mowing, edging, and general upkeep
Complete general gardening and landscaping tasks as required
Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
Follow all WHS procedures and Council guidelines




Provide additional support and complete duties as directed by the Supervisor
About You
Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, cleansing, or outdoor labouring roles
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Strong work ethic with a reliable and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Current driver's licence preferred
Full Australian working rights (mandatory)
