About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our Finance team in Mirrabooka.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, this hands-on role will have a robust focus on NDIS claims and invoicing, accounts payable, Budgetly administration and payroll, along with general finance and reconciliation duties.
You will work across systems including Xero, ShiftCare, PayCat and Budgetly to ensure financial and payroll transactions are accurate, timely and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
Process NDIS claims, participant invoicing and follow up billing discrepancies
Manage accounts payable, supplier invoices and payments
Monitor and reconcile transactions through Budgetly, including participant expenditure
Support accurate and timely fortnightly payroll processing
Review timesheets, leave, allowances, overtime, reimbursements and payroll adjustments
Complete bank, payroll, petty cash and participant account reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, expenditure monitoring and variance analysis




Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records
Respond to payroll and finance enquiries from employees, managers and stakeholders
Support general finance administration and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are organised, numerically strong and highly attentive to detail.
You are confident managing payroll deadlines, financial transactions and confidential information while balancing competing priorities.
Experience using Xero, PayCat, ShiftCare and or Budgetly
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll, accounts or a similar finance role
Demonstrated experience processing end-to-end payroll
Experience with accounts payable, invoicing and reconciliations
Sound understanding of payroll, superannuation, leave and modern award requirements
Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills
Current First Aid & CPR
NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)
NDIS Worker's Orientation Module Certificate
Valid WA Driver's Licence
Evidence of required vaccinations including flu vaccine ****
Ability to provide two professional references
Highly Regarded
Experience with NDIS claims and participant invoicing
Experience within NDIS, disability, aged care, health or community services
Knowledge of SCHADS and Nurses Award
Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
