Hand & Home is seekingreliable, experienced, and confident Disability Support Workersto provide 1:1 support to clients living acrossSutherland, Bangor, Miranda, Brighton-Le-Sandsand surrounds.
This role is best suited to workers who are comfortable supporting individuals withvarious presentationsand who can travel across these local areas.
This role requires support workers who areengaged, attentive, and proactive, with the ability to provideclose supervision and maintain safe environments at all times.
This role offers genuine variety and consistent hours for workers who are available acrossweekdays, before and after-school hours, weekends— with increased hours during school holidays andregular overnight shiftson offer.
You'll be providing tailored 1:1 support to help clients develop independence, life skills, and meaningful social engagement in both home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide1:1 supervision and supportfor participants with complex needs
Deliverpersonal care, including toileting, hygiene, and daily living assistance
Administer medicationin accordance with support plans
ImplementBehaviour Support Plansand respond appropriately to behaviours of concern
Support clients to participate incommunity activities, outings, and social engagement
Assist withlife skills development and structured daily routines
Maintainclear communication with families and care teams




Completeshift notes and documentationin line with qualified standards
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for workers who areconfident, calm, and proactivewhen supporting clients with complex presentations.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting individuals withAutism (Level 3)
Experience working withverbalandnon-verbal participants
Experience supporting individuals withbehaviours of concern
Ability to provideclose supervision and maintain safe environments
Strongemotional regulation and resilience
Highreliabilityand professionalism
Ability to workindependently while remaining connected to the support team
Confidence assisting withlearning, life skills, and structured routines
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Australian Driver's Licence
Own reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
