Courtyard by Marriott Brisbane South Bank is looking for aBusiness Development Managerto join our team on aFull-Timebasis.
What we're looking for:

What you'll do:
Develop exciting new business opportunities whilst consistently achieving sales targets
Establish requirements, quotes and negotiate prices for new clients
Seamlessly seal the deal, contracting new business




Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events
Maintain accounts, contacts, activity and business details
Be the face of The Courtyard Brisbane South Bank
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager.
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum 2 years experience in Hotel Sales role, with strong exposure to Group, Conference & Events Sales as well as broad understanding of other segments
Relevant and recent sales experience in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
Motivated and driven to succeed
Able to work independently and remotely
Highly responsible and reliable, being able to achieve tasks efficiently, accurately and promptly
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Outstanding personal presentation and style
