The Mayfair Emerald (Mayfair Ridge Tavern) Position : Full Time Location : Emerald, QLD
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000 a year
Nested just outside Emerald's township, The Mayfair is the perfect family-friendly venue to relax, unwind with friends or stay over.
They are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chef to join their team.
Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
Creativity and high presentation standards
Ability to create dishes with consistency
Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
Ability to contribute to menu planning
Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering
At least 1 year experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure setting
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
