We are currently seeking a Ranger to assist with the compliance and enforcement of regulatory activities in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies and community expectations.
Minimum 15 hours per week, plus weekends on a rotating roster.
What we are looking for in you
Certificate IV in Local Government Regulatory Services or equivalent qualification orsignificant progress towards such a qualification or Local Government experience ina regulatory or law enforcement role.
Class 'C' Driver Licence
Current Police Check
WHS Construction Induction (White) Card
Demonstrated ability to undertake animal control duties including excellent animalhandling skills and experience in the operation of an animal pound.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the demonstratedability to negotiate and resolve conflict, and work effectively in a team environmentunder minimum supervision.
Sound understanding of and commitment to EEO and WHS principles and practices.
