Casual and Part time Educator positions available
Aboutthe role
As an Educator, you will play an active, hands‐on role in delivering high‐quality experiences for children and supporting the daily operation of the service.
Working as part of a committed team, you will contribute to programming, helpmaintaina protected and engaging workplace, and build positive relationships with children, families, and the school community.
This role suits someone who enjoys working directly with children, values teamwork, and is confident supporting routines, wellbeing, and learning experiences within a structured and supportive organisation.
You willassistwith supervision, programming implementation, compliance tasks, and effective communication with families.You'llalso contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the needs of the children and community.
We are recruitingqualified educators in our services at Kings Langley, Quakers Hill and Seven Hills
For over 25 years, Wesley Out of School Hours Care has been delivering high quality before and after school care in environments where children's safety and wellbeing are non‐negotiable.
We operate 16 services across Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle regions.
Wesley OOSH is committed to child safe standards.
All staff are expected to uphold strict professional boundaries, follow child protection policies, and actively contribute to a culture where children feel safe, respected, and supported.
Demonstrated behaviours:




demonstrated ability to work unsupervised as well as an effective team player with a positive can-do attitude
demonstrate strong initiative
be spontaneous, energetic and enthusiastic
excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and patient
be reliable
display emotional maturity and resilience.
Early Childhood and Care qualification or equivalent
Minimum one year experience working within a children's service
demonstrated ability to be encouraging and passionate about providing children with engaging activities
good organisational and time management skills
current Employee Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
ability to work as part of a team
good communication and relational skills with children, staff and families
experience in sport coaching
demonstrated ability to be creative
a working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and 'My Time, Our Place'
Willingness to work split shifts as required
Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Children's Services Award with generous salary packaging available.
