Work with Solid Timber on Specialist Architectural & Heritage Projects
We are afamily-owned and run timber manufacturing businessbased in Wetherill Park, specialising inhigh-quality solid timber windows, doors, architectural joinery and heritage components.
We are looking for an experiencedSolid Timber Machinistto join our team.
This is a hands-on skilled position for someone who understands solid timber and takes pride in producingaccurate, high-quality components.
The Skills We Need
The successful applicant will have strong experience working with solid timber and be confident operating and setting up:
4-sided moulder
Spindle moulder
Thicknesser
Jointer
You will also need to be able to:
Straighten and flatten rough-sawn timber
Prepare timber accurately for machining
Laminate solid timber components
Set and change knives, cutters and tooling
Set machine dimensions and feed rates
Machine different timber species, sizes and profiles
Read drawings and work to specifications
Check dimensions and profiles throughout production
Identify and resolve machining issues
Maintain consistent quality
About You
You are an experiencedsolid timber machinistwho can work independently and understands that good timber preparation and accurate machining are critical to the finished product.
You will have:
Strong hands-on experience withsolid timber
Proven experience setting up and operating a4-sided moulder




Experience with spindle moulders, thicknessers and jointers
A good understanding of timber species, grain and machining characteristics
Excellent measuring skills and attention to detail
The ability to read drawings and work to specifications
Good practical problem-solving skills
A strong commitment to quality and safety
A reliable and responsible work ethic
Experience withtimber windows and doors, architectural joinery, detailed mouldings or heritage workwill be highly regarded.

We producebespoke solid timber windows, doors, architectural components and heritage reproductions, often involving detailed profiles and specialised machining.
Our products require care, accuracy and a good understanding of solid timber.
You will be joining an established production team working alongside ourCNC operator, machinists, drafter and factory manager.
