MatchWorks is looking for a motivated and adaptable Employment Consultant who is passionate about empowering people to achieve their employment goals and create meaningful career outcomes.
This dynamic, people-focused role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, juggling priorities, and using strong communication, computer, and problem-solving skills to make a real difference.
While experience in employment services is highly regarded, we welcome candidates from customer service, recruitment, sales, or similar backgrounds who are resilient, adaptable, and driven by helping others succeed.

What you'll do
Work with your participants to understand their strengths and goals to match them with the right employment opportunities
Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting their unique skills and strengths
Link participants with training, health, and community supports for long-term success
Support participants to develop practical career plans that unlock their potential and boost confidence
What you'll bring
Highly developed communication skills to provide relevant supports to participants and external stakeholders




Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation and compliance records in accordance with Workforce Australia requirements
A collaborative team member who brings professionalism, positivity, and a mature approach to teamwork
Experience in a customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
