Assembly, fabrication and welding - experience in medium and heavy fabrication
Minimum 3-5 years of fabrication and welding experience required
Read and interpret workshop drawings
High attention to detail and accuracy
Competent in MIG welding
Carry out other metal fabrication duties, i.e. grinding, oxycutting, sawing, guillotining etc.
Setup and use punch and shear machine
Able to work independently and take responsibility for completion of tasks
Able to plan and work efficiently
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work and fellow team members
Compelling and varied work
Drivers licence preferred
Australian resident
Australian citizenship required for this position
Permanent position offered after a trial period
