Position Purpose: To provide teaching English and HASS for Years 7-12 through a Christian worldview.
Key Responsibilities
Teach English & Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) subjects across secondary year levels, including English, History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, and Economics & Business.
Design and deliver engaging, rigorous, and differentiated lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.
Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports student wellbeing and achievement.
Integrate Biblical perspectives into teaching and learning where appropriate.
Contribute to faculty collaboration, curriculum planning, and co-curricular activities.
Actively participate in the life of the College community.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor of Education, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Current ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school.
