Immerge Group is seeking a driven and enthusiasticApprentice Plumber – Hot Water Installation & Serviceto join our growing team.
This is afull-time apprenticeship positionbased inHallam, offering an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the plumbing trade with a reputable and established company.
You will work alongside experienced plumbers, gaining practical hands-on experience whilst completing your formal qualifications.
This role is integral to delivering quality hot water solutions and plumbing services to our valued customers, and you will play a key part in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key responsibilities
Assisting experienced plumbers with the installation, maintenance and repair of hot water systems, including electric, gas and solar units
Learning to read and interpret plumbing plans, blueprints and technical specifications
Measuring, cutting, fitting and joining pipes using appropriate tools and techniques
Supporting the diagnosis and troubleshooting of plumbing faults and hot water system issues
Carrying out site preparation, material handling and general labouring tasks on job sites
Assisting with customer communication and ensuring work areas are left clean and tidy
Learning health, safety and environmental procedures relevant to the plumbing industry
Attending and completing your Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification as required)
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of work completed
Developing knowledge of plumbing codes, standards and regulations
What we're looking for
Current driver's licence
A genuine interest in the plumbing trade and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and heights where required




Robust manual dexterity and practical problem-solving skills
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
The ability to follow instructions and work safely in accordance with health and safety requirements
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude towards customers and team members
A willingness to learn and the ability to take feedback constructively
White Card required
Working at heights accreditaion preferred
No prior plumbing experience necessary – we will provide comprehensive on-the-job training
