About the Direct Payment Holder
N is a bright 10-year-old with Autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
He is pre-verbal and communicates using a few words, alongside non-verbal communication.
N enjoys bus rides, music, swimming, visits to Greggs and trips to the park.
He thrives on routine, predictability and perks greatly from social stories and clear plans to reduce his anxiety around changes.
Hours and rate of pay: 72 hours @ £13 ph available to be used flexibly, including weekends and school holidays.
The working pattern will be agreed with family.
DBS/Checks:
Confirmation of an Enhanced DBS check.
Right to Work and references will be needed.
What you would do...
Provide one-to-one support for N, enabling him to access the community safely while promoting his wellbeing, confidence and independence.
Support will include accompanying N on bus rides, swimming, visits to the city centre, trips to the park, Greggs and other activities of his choice, following his interests and preferences.
