Job Description
Working alongside our experienced fabrication team, you'll learn how to:
* Fabricate and assemble vehicle bodies and transport equipment
* Perform MIG welding and general metal fabrication
* Read and interpret workshop drawings
* Measure, cut and prepare materials
* Safely operate hand and power tools
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
Apprentice Fit-Out Technician
Working alongside our fit-out team, you'll learn how to:
* Assemble and complete vehicle bodies after painting
* Install LED lighting, wiring and other vehicle electrical components
* Fit air systems and associated components
* Install toolboxes, guards, mudflaps and accessories
* Complete final assembly and quality checks
* Safely operate hand and power tools, Your apprenticeship will include TAFE attendance through block-release training several times throughout the year.

About the Candidate
We are looking for two reliable and motivated people to begin full-time apprenticeships with our team:
* 1 x Apprentice Fabricator / Vehicle Body Builder
* 1 x Apprentice Fit-Out Technician / Vehicle Body Builder
Whether you're interested in welding and metal fabrication or assembling and fitting out completed vehicle bodies, this is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and build a long-term trade career.
No previous industry experience is required. We're looking for people with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn., We're looking for applicants who:
* Have a genuine interest in learning a trade
* Are reliable, punctual and motivated
* Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Work well as part of a team
* Take pride in producing quality work
* Hold a current driver's licence or are working towards obtaining one
A relevant pre-apprenticeship or previous experience using hand and power tools would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
Training and development
You'll complete a nationally recognised apprenticeship while receiving practical, hands-on training from experienced tradespeople.
